Throughout this series of drawings, I’ve loved playing with the boundaries between interior and exterior, and thinking about ways of drawing the increments of space between myself and the horizon. The life size hand reaching into the bottom left is my own. I was fascinated to see how adding it to the image increased my physical connection with both the drawn space and the surface of the paper.
