Curated by Philippa Beale, this show is the last of three thematically linked exhibitions responding to the concept of a 'Sense of Place'.
Philippa Beale describes how, “The challenge to the artist's imagination in the 2020s is to profoundly question our values by asking how does humankind imagine its place on the planet? How can the artist evolve ways of living and working with ourselves and with nature?."

I made this drawing slowly, over two weeks, during the first lockdown in March 2020. During my daily lockdown walks, I’d noticed that my looking was slowing down and I was seeing more in streets I thought I knew well.
The same began to happen as I looked out of my flat window at home. I wanted this drawing to record the tiny events I noticed (a pigeon taking off, a crow pecking moss…) within the expansive space beyond the confines of my flat.
