I'm delighted 'Tower' (above) will be exhibited in Fight Flight or Freeze, a group exhibition exploring instinct, agency and the existential angst inherent in our DNA. Curated by Kafka Projects, it promises to be a fascinating show, with work by many artists I admire.

The Private View takes place on Friday 10th May, 6-8pm, Kafka Projects at Pictorem Gallery, 383 Hoe Street, Walthamstow, London, E17 9AP.

If you would like to join us at the Private View, please contact me for further details. We’d love to see you there!

The show will also be open 8th - 25th May, Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm

‘Tower’ is part of the series of drawings made from my fifth-floor studio window, overlooking the ever changing industrial estate behind the Thames Barrier, London.

From that point on, it felt as if I were drawing the entire landscape in relation to that fleeting glimpse of its body as it instinctively twisted in flight, skimming past the facade of the building.

My hope is that the drawing has become a trace of the many transient, yet very specific, observations I made within the space I was surrounded by.
